Look, Up in the Sky! It's a Bird, A Plane, It's a Small Business Champion!

It's that Time of Year! Book Your Holiday Portrait Session Today!

What?

We're presenting a great opportunity to have professional portraits for the holidays. For one weekend in October, The Dandelion Patch is hosting Simply Create Photography to photograph you and yours at our stores.

We will use the beautiful setting of old town Vienna at our Vienna store. At our Reston location, we will shoot around the Town Center and the green area on the east side of the shops. Up to four people may be photographed for these outdoor sessions.

These will be quick 20-minute sessions designed to give you portraits for your holiday cards and gift-giving.

When?

Reston - Saturday, October 2, 2010, from 10AM - 4PM
Vienna - Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 12PM - 5PM

How?

Where in the world is "the Patch?" - Outtakes!

Although our summer contest has ended, we just received a few pictures of The Dandelion Patch gift bag on vacation! Our first picture is from Christine who took the 'Patch' on a visit to Miami.


The picture above comes from Elizabeth at a birthday celebration with her gal pals Sheryl and Carolyn. According to Elizabeth, "Each year, the dinner must include only three things: the same three girls, a giant lobster dinner, and birthday gifts from The Dandelion Patch."

And this picture comes from Jamie, who was in the Bahamas with his friends for his bachelor party! It seems that the 'Patch' gift bag really enjoyed the clear water, cool ocean breeze and several Bahama Mamas!

Latest entries in our "Where in the world is the 'Patch Contest?"

We have some terrific last-minute entries in our "Where in the world is the 'Patch'?" contest. Our first entry comes from longtime 'Patch' customer Lisa. Lisa has just returned from Kure Beach, North Carolina where she enjoyed time with her gift bag from The Dandelion Patch.

Our dear friend Nicole took The Dandelion Patch with her on a recent trip to the West Coast where she visited the San Diego Zoo. One of the most popular attractions in California, the San Diego Zoo is home to more than 4000 species of wildlife.

The Dandelion Patch has made several trips to Europe this summer. In this photo, our customer Barbara is on the Island of Capri, which is located in the Gulf of Naples. Capri has been a resort destination since Roman times!
And finally, Dandelion Patch customer Stacey and her children were definitely reaching for the stars this summer. This picture shows them (and their bag from the 'Patch!') at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
