Where is the "Patch" today? In the land of volcanoes - Iceland!

The "Patch" has traveled all over the world this summer. From Nags Head to New York City, to the Middle East and Bahrain. Today, our entry comes from one of our number one "Patch" fans - Margaret. Margaret and the "Patch" traveled this summer to Iceland, and this picture was taken during her visit this July to Iceland and the sulpher fields at Namaskard.

Some fun facts about Iceland:

  • Iceland is the most sparsely populated country in Europe.
  • The average life expectancy is 81.3 years for women and 76.4 years for men, one of the highest in the world.
  • Many Icelanders believe in elves. Certain roads have been rerouted to avoid disturbing areas where elves are thought to live.

Send us a picture of you on vacation with you holding a bag from The Dandelion Patch, and you'll receive a Vera Bradley tote for FREE!
